The D430 Portion Control Scale is specifically designed for manual portion control applications in today’s food industry. The advanced operator terminal offers a comprehensive range of operating modes and the integrated stainless steel bench scale ensures optimum precision.

The D430 terminal, housed in an IP68 stainless steel enclosure, provides a versatile and user friendly operator interface for accurate and fast weighing. The 135x 32 mm backlit graphic display and alphanumeric polyester keypad provide ease of operator use and designated ‘Hot keys’ facilitate the personalization of frequently used functions for direct access from the keypad. The multi-section, coloured LED strip on the front gives clear visual indication of when the correct preset weight of product has been accepted, changing from red through amber to green in the acceptance zone.

New batches can easily be created and added to the production schedule using ingredients input from the product database. The new batch is then made available for the operative to select. Scales are allocated to a batch using standard drag and drop techniques and the re-allocation of scales can take place during a ‘live’ batch’ if the line is changed due to breakdown.
