CPE Parts Counting Terminals

The CPE range of versatile parts counting terminals provide everything required for parts counting whatever the application. Unlike many of its competitors, the CPE meets weights and measures requirements according to EU Directive 90/384 EEC, making it ideal for traceable quality audits and resale applications.

With the choice of six display languages and a host of operational features, the CPE is the perfect tool for busy factories, warehouses and laboratories. The modular design and progressive software features ensure future expansion can be achieved without redundancy. Weightron can supply the CPE as a stand-alone instrument for upgrading existing counting scales and balances or as a complete system with scales and printer. A full range of bench scales, balances and floor scales are available including weights and measures approved and stainless steel versions.

The terminal offers a balance of sophisticated performance and ease of operator use. The versatility of the electronics allows the processing and storage of a wide variety of data, entered by means of the alphanumeric keypad. Up to two platform scales or balances can be connected to the CPE, while still keeping two serial ports free for the connection of other peripheral devices such as a remote display, printer or PC. For added flexibility, the CPE can be powered from an internal rechargeable battery.

The CPE, which features a back-lit 7 digit LCD alphanumeric display, has an internal resolution of 1 part in 500,000 and the capacity to store a maximum of 1000 sixteen digit product codes in memory. These can be used to recall 20 character descriptions, average unit weights and preset tares. The automatic average piece weight updating feature uses progressive sample recalculation to ensure optimum precision and the unit recognises and inhibits accidental weighing repetition. Both additive and subtractive counting modes further extend the versatility of the CPE.
PTM Mobile Pallet Weigher and Counting System

The cost effective PTM pallet truck scale has full weights and measures approval in accordance with European directive 90/384 EEC and sets new standards in terms of accuracy, ease of use and durability. The PTM can act as a standard weighing scale, with both single and multiple ranges, or as a powerful parts counter. For parts counting, the EV22 terminal can store hundreds of coded weight values with product descriptions and tare weights, allowing easy and quick recall when required. The multiple tare function offers storage of up to 50 preset pallet and box weights, and includes auto-weighed tare, preset tare and coded notes tare options. The Sum Weighing mode allows the operator to load a pallet in consecutive stages and display and print the weight for each stage.
